Two Year Olds (Mother's Day Out School Program)
"More than childcare."
Our two year old program goes far beyond a typical MDO program. Our certified teachers are absolutely incredible at setting up new, exciting activities every single day. Children are free to explore, create, discover, and learn. Every two weeks all of the centers, activities, and projects are changed so the children are constantly learning new things. From daily outdoor play to classroom learning, the children learn so much in our Cypress classrooms.

Two year olds are inquisitive, active, eager young learners. At The Cypress School, we are dedicated to fostering a love of learning in each child by providing purposeful play, creative centers, hands-on sensory and art activities daily.
Children will experience natural growth in social, emotional, spiritual, and academic areas. In our large, bright classrooms, young learners will find joy in new and exciting experiences.
Our two year old program is more than just a typical Mother's Day Out Program. At The Cypress School, our two year olds are learning every single day. Their nurturing teachers provide a safe, welcoming environment where children learn to use their fine and gross motor skills and actively participate in a variety of activities every day. They will learn Bible stories and songs every week. They also will discover God's world through thematic units.
Our Mother's Day Out program is two days a week. The school day is from 8:45-12:00 with an extended option available. Extended day dismissal is at 2:30.

What do parents have to say?
The Cypress School has been the biggest blessing to our family! This is our second year at the school and we can't imagine being elsewhere! Our children receive the highest quality education; one that is unlike a traditional classroom environment. The individualized attention, tailoring of lessons to meet the child where they are, the hands-on learning environment, small class sizes, home-like feel, intriguing curriculum, close-knit community, Christian environment, and some of the best families, are what makes The Cypress School the best! Our family will be forever grateful for the staff, and most importantly for Ms. Kristen (the owner of the school). Words simply can't describe the angel that she is and the profound impact she is leaving on each of her students.

This is my favorite school in the area! My biological son as well as my 2 foster children attended and it was such a gift to our family. The director allowed our 6 year old foster son to have multiple therapists come to the school to observe him and work with him. All of those therapists commented on what an amazing school it was. The teachers are wonderful at character building as well as teaching academics. I can’t say enough good things about this school.

My son has been at the Cypress School for 5 years now. He loves the hands on learning, amazing activities, his sweet friends, and his wonderful teachers. When he is sick he cries - not because he is sick, but because his is missing school! It has an amazing community of families. Fall Festivals, Spring Flings, Rodeo Day, glow in the dark day, and pajama days are just a few ways that the owner of the Cypress School makes learning fun. Last week they even made an apple pie from scratch (ground their own wheat, made butter from scratch, ground their own cinnamon) as a learning tool to learn about various ingredients and cultures from all over the world.
We couldn't ask for a better school and we are so fortunate to be a part of it.-Margery McAlister
